100,000 Bubbles

As I write this, BubbleTimer customers have filled in 70,476 bubbles worth of time. That represents 1,057,140 minutes or 17,619 hours. That's a lot of goal directed time!

At this rate, the 100,000th bubble will be bubbled this week. To honor that, I'll be doing a little give away. If you bubble the 100,000th bubble and you are a trial user, you'll be getting a free year of BubbleTimer. If you bubble that 100,000th bubble and you are a paid BubbleTimer user, you'll be getting a $100 Amazon Gift Certificate. Good luck!

Onward and upward to 1,000,000 bubbles! We'll have to do something real big for that one. If you have any ideas for what would be good, leave a comment.

I'd consider a $100 Amazon Gift Certificate already a really big gift! Sounds exciting :P. I'll have to remind myself to bubble extensively!
    Cheers,

That's exactly why I won't be putting a real-time bubble counter on the site anytime soon. Don't want anyone "bubbling for the win"! :-)

Okay, fine, I'll try your darn free trial. ;)

I'm just afraid that 14 days won't be long enough to even get in the habit of tracking time here, and so I won't be able to know if it's working yet! I've heard it takes at least 21 days to form a habit, 28 if you get sidetracked. But I'll try it anyways, because it really does look like a fun way to see how my time is whittled away!

  5. Tijl Kindt 2 days later:

    Hi Qrystal,

I had the exact same concern, and I've noticed in the past when trying out time management utilities or concepts, that I could only make a fair conclusion of how well it worked or did not work after 3 weeks to a month.

I decided to take the plunge and subscribe because a) $20 isn't exactly the end of the world, and b) they do have a 364-day money back guarantee, so if I decide after 2 months that it simply isn't working for me, I can get my money back with no problem.

At least that's what I'm assuming from what I've read, so please correct me if I'm wrong, Sean ;).

    Regards,
    Tijl

@Tijl You are exactly right on the guarantee. If you later decide it's not working out for you, you get your $20 back, no questions asked.

@Qrystal I'm glad you decided to try it out! Maybe I'm more impetuous than other people, but I thought 14 days was plenty of time to decide how useful BubbleTimer might be for you. I could be wrong of course. The first wave of users are starting to have their 14 day trial expire so if I get a lot of feedback that people need more time to decide I'll consider changing things.

    Thanks,
    Sean

Oh, I forgot to follow up here. It turns out I am impetuous after all -- I was hooked by day 8 of the trial. Go figure! :)

  14. Sean Johnson 29 days later:

    Qrystal,

With 6 days to spare no less! The dirty little secret is that if anyone asks for more time to evaluate BubbleTimer I give it to them. Shhhh!

And in case anyone is still curious. Latest bubble count is 143,095 as of 12/30/2008. That's 2,146,425 minutes bubbled. Good job guys!
